Relocation…

I am seeking a new studio location, but for now am working from my home. My phone number has not changed.
It is still (309) 678-0653 and I can be found here on the web as before.

I am taking appointments for spring Seniors and babes in the woods. Book early! New specials coming

Recently shot Carter – a great looking young man and a good model. He took 2nd place in my Baby Model Contest earlier this year. Here are 3 wall montages mom has to pick from:

forgot I had these. Was meaning to use these and others in my marketing but been so busy, I overlooked them. Magazine covers are so cool.

Some from the shoots with Loren and Bianna….

The ICAB (Inter Country Adoption Board) in the Philippines needs photos of us with the girls, so we went to the studio to shoot some casual, fun kinds of snaps. Here are some from that session.

Of course, this session was MY family, but families from all over come to my studio for similar good times.

We are in the Philippines…

I am now proudly in the process of adding 2 children to the Coventry family through adoption process. There have been so many “God things” that have happened (too many to really count) that there is NO question we were supposed to do this. Praise Him!

This post takes some time to load. It is a slide show so be patient.

We’ll be returning on May 30.

Thank you,

Pictures of the day…

As I do post production on images that I like, new or old, I’m goinmg to continue to post here so you can follow my work.

By the way, spring and busy kids photo session season is around the corner. Make your appointment early and get nice perks. Ask about that.

A second version of Blairs portrait… I like it better:

2 workshops now running.

We have a Wednesday workshop and a Thursday workshop going right now and are trying to get interested parties for a Tuesday workshop.

Wednesdays are taken with semi advanced shooters all carrying similar equipment. We’ve covered shooting location and studio shots. Our last workshop we worked on workflow. That post production job few photographers realize the importance of. It’s going well. We have covered basics in Photoshop Essentials and CS3 and CS4. Also the power of Lightroom.

We’ve just begun a Thursday workshop with a variety of students. We have a very proficient graphic artist, a marketing manager and a field representative. This is a beginner workshop covering the basics of photography and will last 6 weeks.

I’d like Tuesdays to be for more advanced shooters and Photoshop/Lightroom users. I’m trying to market to all to be sure everyone is covered.

The Wednesday night group has had 6 weeks and is now on extension into more and they’re loving it!

So, tell your friends and come join us in learning and sharing!

Fund raising…

OK I relented and gave into my wife’s need to have a family. We are adopting sibling sisters (9 and 11). It’s expensive. Someone suggested having some kind of fund raiser. At first I said no way! We don’t need charity. Well, after recapitulation I decided if we can sell something and use the sales as funds towards our goal; that’s not charity. So, we have had 2 days of a very nice “Fund Raising” event. My wife sells exclusive ladies purses (Beijo bags) We are now closer to having funds we need to bring “our girls” home. The Lord does bless! Thank you God!

Sorry… has nothing to do with photography. Just a personal aside.
